Our family decided to go to SM Aura which is located at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) last May 10, 2014 since we haven't been there yet. After having lunch at Ramen Nagi, my friend Johan texted me that Digital Photographer Philippines is having their 8th anniversary in BGC and there are various photography related events there (like seminars, talks, and etc.). The event is just a few blocks away from SM Aura, so I just walked and met with my friend there. I was also told that international street photographer Eric Kim was also there for a talk. However I was not able to attend this, since I have to leave early. I was not able to bring any of my cameras during that day, I only have my iPhone 5s with me. I think I was the only person there shooting with a phone (LOL). Well, as they say "The best camera is the one you have with you.". ;)

Here are pictures taken from the event.

Last December 25, we had lunch at Saboten which is located at Glorietta 5. I believe this is the latest katsu restaurant in Glorietta and also our first time to dine here. I ordered the Mille-Feuille Set. According to the manager, it is the latest in their menu. I chose this since I want to try something new. The set comes with unlimited miso soup, shredded cabbage, pickles, and rice. The Mille-Feuille is made up of thinly sliced layers of pork. I must say that it tastes quite good and different from the regular tonkatsu even though it looks like the same from the outside. My mom had the Mixed Set while my dad, sister, and brother-in-law had the Claypot Tender Loin Set (similar to Katsudon, it seems that the difference is that the rice is separated from the bowl). Sorry, no pictures of those since they already started eating when their orders arrived at the table. LOL!For dinner we ate at newly relocated Luk Yuen at Glorietta (just beside the entrance going to Landmark). I had the Sweet and Sour Prawn Dumpling. Sad to say that it was not good, almost no taste at all.Since I was so disappointed with my dinner, I decided that we must have dessert. I had Strawberry Banana Blizzard from Dairy Queen. (Craving satisfied.) :P

Yesterday, we went to Makati to watch the Lights and Sounds shouw at Ayala Triangle Garden. Since we arrived early, we strolled along Greenbelt 5 and Greenbelt Park. We had dinner at Bannapple. As usual the place was jam packed.

Went to our town plaza and Imus Cathedral to take a look at the various activities going there. There are several stalls selling accessories, clothes, bibingka, puto bumbong. Not as much stalls/vendors unlike the past years.
